and_so_it_goes_ @ninoun Based on the brand and era, and the instruction tag to wash on warm and tumble dry, I think it's more likely this is a synthetic material. I know that wool items would never have instructions to wash in the machine at all, especially a blazer. This has also been pretty wrinkle resistant which is also making me think it's synthetic. The texture of the fabric feels soft, more like a velvet, so it might be a cotton-poly velveteen blend.
