Roots 2000 Sydney Olympic Hockey Jersey, Size XL

Roots at the Olympics in 2000 were a hot commodity. Following their 1998 Nagano Olympic poor boy caps they recognized the significance of Olympic team gear being fun and wearable (and don’t fret, I’ve got Nagano gear too). Not to mention the Aussies loved anything Roots, as well, in Australia to Root is to xxx. My coach Larry Lemieux was in Sydney coaching Marty Essig in the laser class, a relative newcomer to sailing, in its second Olympics. These Hockey Jerseys were instantly identifiable as Canadian as Poutine and the Tragically Hip! This is actual gear from the Sydney 2000 Olympics team. One owner. Good used condition.
