Very good vintage condition on the exterior with normal wear for its age, while the interior lining shows age-related wear including staining, fraying and several worn areas. This circa 1960s–70s Johnson Woolen Mills hunting coat features heavyweight red and black buffalo plaid wool, a convertible zip hood that opens into a collar, multiple utility pockets, button front, zippered side pockets and vintage Talon zipper hardware. A substantial heritage outdoor piece with classic New England hunting and woodsman styling. The original size tag is missing; based on the approximately 24" pit-to-pit, 30" length and 23" sleeves, it fits approximately like a men's Large, with measurements recommended for fit.
