Vintage Gandalf the Wizard Rose Patchwork Leather Jacket — Circa 1970s

A holy-grail vintage piece from Gandalf the Wizard, Inc., Detroit. Rich patchwork leather in emerald green, cognac, burgundy, red, and black, accented with pink rose-print panels across the front, back, collar, and sleeves. Features oversized lapels, a metal front zipper, four curved leather-trimmed pockets, and a beautifully shaped back with gathered panels at the waist. From my personal collection. It’s gorgeous, but a little small for me, so it’s time for someone else to enjoy it. Good vintage condition with age-related leather creasing and patina. Interior lining has a tear/seam opening, loose threads, and visible stitching that may reflect an earlier repair. Please see detailed photos; lining flaws are not visible when worn. Original “Gandalf The Wizard, Inc. Detroit” label present. Believed to date to the 1970s. Measurements: 19” pit-to-pit, 18” shoulders, 22.5” sleeve length, and 24.5” total length.
