Beautiful vintage 1981 Wedgwood Pale Blue Jasperware scalloped trinket/jewelry box, Shape No. 2498. Features intricate white classical relief designs, including a mythological chariot scene, decorative oak leaf border, and detailed figures around the sides. Made in England. A wonderful collector’s find complete with its original purple Wedgwood gift box, handwritten purchase receipt dated January 19, 1981, original gold identification label, and “Know Your Wedgwood” booklet. The original purchase price was $19.90! The Jasperware box is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. Original packaging and paperwork show age-related wear. Approximately 5” diameter. A beautiful piece of Wedgwood history with exceptional original provenance!
