I keep reporting counterfeits and Poshmark ignores every single request for years. I’d like to protect the buyer who just purchased this and let you know that it’s not authentic.
Over the years, I have posted examples of counterfeit labels and counterfeits, but Poshmark removes my listings displaying these counterfeit examples, but they never remove the counterfeit listings, counterfeit sellers and never ban counterfeit sellers. Their priorities are out of order. You can scroll through my listings to see some of the examples of counterfeits, some say not for sale, in Emilio Pucci in Chanel. What should always remove the listings showing examples of what has sold and examples of counterfeits compared to authentic. I don’t know why they’re against educating buyers for bikes. I’ve even sent them to Poshmark so they could educate their authenticators.

ailurophile1@hmalka hi, I didn’t know how to private message you. Did you buy this counterfeit? I’d like to protect you.
Oct 08Reply

ailurophile1@michelle_ladner just trying to protect you in case you purchased
Oct 08Reply

ailurophile1@mfm45 were you the one that purchased this counterfeit? I saw your comment concerned, just wanted to protect you
Oct 08Reply

ailurophile1@hoatran56 you asked if this item was authentic. It is not. The seller does not sell authentic Chanel. Oshmark continues to ignore my emails and reporting
Oct 08Reply

michelle_ladner@ailurophile1 Thank you. I did not purchase!
Oct 08Reply

ailurophile1@michelle_ladner Thank you for responding. When I left a comment, the seller blocked my comment and the block deleted my protective comment.

ailurophile1@felixcamehome Did you buy this counterfeit?
Oct 08Reply

ailurophile1@ashergraygroup Hello, did you buy this?
Oct 08Reply

ashergraygroupNo!
Oct 08Reply

ailurophile1@ashergraygroup Thank you for providing. Trying to protect the buyer who did.
Oct 08Reply

ctleviYou are the BEST. Thank you for doing this🌷
Oct 08Reply

ailurophile1@ctlevi My pleasure. I hope I do not get in trouble. Poshmark is not doing anything. They seem to punish people who try to protect and allow counterfeits to sell. They never remove obvious counterfeits.
Oct 08Reply

ctlevi@ailurophile1 Make me wonder about authentication process🤔
Oct 08Reply

ailurophile1@ctlevi They are not consistently qualified
Oct 08Reply

ailurophile1@ashergraygroup they you for responding. Hope the buyer figures it out. Makes me mad to see someone ripped off and hurts the many good authentic sellers on Poshmark. I keep reporting and Poshmark never takes action.
Oct 08Reply

weimeranerKudos for you for pointing this out!!
Oct 08Reply

seanseansmomAll the sites are selling counterfeit now. It’s crazy they allow. I mean last time I checked fraud is illegal
Oct 08Reply

shoiraWould like to know who the seller is so I accidentally don’t buy anything from their closet.
Oct 09Reply

ailurophile1@shoira I will share. She has many. I continue to report to Poshmark, even showing what authentic labels look like and authentic hanging tags from many sellers, and they don’t care. I’ve been reporting for years. They don’t do anything except forgive a template response and say they’re working very hard or that it’s been forwarded to the right department, and when I say that after they forward it, nothing happens, they ignore me. It’s harmful to the brand buyers and good authentic sellers.
Oct 09Reply

ailurophile1@seanseansmom 100%! The one stating with am E is a superstore of counterfeits, and they only use AI and will 100% respond that they see nothing wrong. Even on Poshmark, the scammers will respond. It’ll be authenticated because they know they’re unqualified to authenticate, so they’re not afraid anymore, and no matter how much you report, nothing will happen.
Oct 09Reply

ailurophile1@shoira I forgot, the one who has a lot of them is not this seller, but this is counterfeit. There are many of them who are just selling one or two, so if they get in trouble, the other one still has it listed. They either are the same person or they work together. That happens a lot on various platforms that I report. It’s really obvious.
Oct 09Reply

ailurophile1@shoira I don’t want to post it in the listing if you add to your bundle, then I can privately send it to you. There are so many. If you’re ever uncertain, please feel free to reach out to me and I will tell you if it is authentic or counterfeit. I know two brands very well, Emilio Pucci and Chanel.
Oct 09Reply

caritolaThank you! It’s so frustrating to see counterfeit sellers with thousands of transactions. They have been around for a long time with zero consequences.
Oct 09Reply

ailurophile1@caritola Well said! I am frustrated they waste people time with a reporting tool that is useless, they never take action or never respond to customers, they are authenticating counterfeits as authentic
Oct 09Reply

ldc1223Isn’t it their policy that no dupes allowed they’re everywhere now!
Oct 09Reply

ailurophile1@ldc1223 Yes, but poshmark isn’t in forcing it on the counterfeit sellers. The only action I’ve seen Poshmark take is against my account if I use a Chanel stock photo to show what the item looks like on a model,
Oct 09Reply

ailurophile1@ailurophile1 they have deleted my entire listing saying it’s against Poshmark policy, and when I asked them about what about all the counterfeit I reported that you do nothing about, they don’t respond. They don’t do anything about it. And I’ve seen a lot of counterfeits with stock photos.,
Oct 09Reply

ailurophile1@ailurophile1 these counterfeit scammers and some innocent sellers who don’t know that they were sold a counterfeit and reselling it are using stock photos and having no issue, but I’ve had many deleted from my account and everything I have is authentic that I purchased direct and I typically have the hanging tags to prove with additional authenticity
Oct 09Reply

domsynowiecI reported about 300 posts yesterday... all still up. Disgusting
Oct 09Reply

ailurophile1@domsynowiec Good for you!👏💪 i’ve been reporting for six years. I warned when they’re listing, when there’s an offer, and when they sell, and I even provide actual photos of my authentic items with the hanging tags and labels and show the comparison to customer service to prove that their counterfeit and they do nothing. Poshmark never does anything
Oct 09Reply

shoelover1023Good for you for doing this! I always report and Poshmark never does anything about it. So disappointing.
Oct 09Reply

shoira@ailurophile1 Thank you for caring and trying to prevent people from falling into these traps.
Oct 09Reply

eugeniasvintageSame here! Vestiaire I think do a better job at filtering #scammers and #counterfeits
Oct 09Reply

eugeniasvintageI Poshmark should completely block counterfeits. People who buy them are aware these are not legit but don’t care. Not everyone can afford legit bags or shoes. The point is that Poshmark is not doing their job vetting because they are interested in making $$$ but sadly good, and honest sellers like you and I will take their business somewhere else… Poshmark is known for high end luxury and legit products and allowing these chinese counterfeits will ruin its name
Oct 09Reply

eugeniasvintage@ctlevi Not trustworthy
Oct 09Reply

eugeniasvintage@shoira There are dozens if not hundreds selling counterfeits. I’ve noticed there is a big company supposedly based on hong kong using different sellers to sell their “authenticated” items.
Oct 09Reply

ailurophile1@eugeniasvintage Definitely exponentially growing because these resellers are not qualified and they’re not taking action. So once the scammers test it and it works and they realize that they’re not qualified to authenticate, they’re going to continue and I think there’s multiple users that are the same person and a group working together. I’ve pointed it out so many times, but Poshmark and other resellers ignore me.
Oct 09Reply

eleurieMeantime original items get flagged as “fakes” even after uploading receipt and tags and get reduced visibility…
Oct 09Reply

Oct 09Reply

loveluxhuntThank you for protecting buyers!!!! I appreciate you
Oct 09Reply

ailurophile1@loveluxhunt my pleasure. We have to keep reporting and find out why Poshmark is not doing anything about it.
Oct 09Reply

ailurophile1@eugeniasvintage Agree, but I report a lot there that has passed inspection to be listed and passed inspection that they sold, but at least they respond and often do something about it. All the platforms have counterfeits, but some are better than others. Poshmark never has removed one counterfeit that I have proved and reported in over six years.
Oct 10Reply

ailurophile1@ailurophile1 I got in trouble for trying to protect buyers. Their priorities are all wrong. One time they closed my entire account for reporting counterfeits. The scammers got mad at me and reported me. It took me a long time to get my account reinstated, but they still never did anything about the counterfeit sellers
Oct 10Reply

eugeniasvintage@ailurophile1 Wow :( unbelievable! Thank you for doing this
Oct 10Reply

ailurophile1@eugeniasvintage Someone just made an offer on this counterfeit that I’ve reported multiple times and even shared just now that someone made an offer and they’re still not doing anything about it https://posh.mk/Nw6dct9W66b
Oct 10Reply

ailurophile1@ailurophile1 just sold!
Oct 10Reply

ailurophile1I just reviewed the site and there are so many counterfeits. It’s too many to keep up on and Poshmark is not responding at all except for it’s not my department. I’m forwarding it somewhere. Nobody ever responds and then they’ll give me instructions on how to report a counterfeit after I told them I’ve been reporting for six years and not one has been removed, and I’m watching many sell.
Oct 10Reply

ailurophile1@ailurophile1 If you notice many of the sellers have just one or two, but they’re all working together or they’re the same seller or some are bold and all they sell are counterfeits and they have quite a bit
Oct 10Reply

ailurophile1@@jbuggy_68 hi, I didn’t know how to message you privately. Just curious if you just bought a black Chanel inspired cardigan?
Oct 10Reply

jasinazMaybe report directly to Chanel
Oct 10Reply

ailurophile1@jasinaz I’ve done that too. I’ve had my listings removed because I’ve used a stock photo to show what the item looks like on, while all the other photos are my photos, and they’ve removed the entire listing, not just removing the single photo of my authentic items, but they allow counterfeits to stay.
Oct 10Reply

ailurophile1@ailurophile1 Poshmark has told me that Chanel reported my account for showing a stock photo that they don’t allow stock photos, but I’ve seen so many counterfeits with stock photos and other people with stock photos, the priorities seem to be wrong
Oct 10Reply

missbrookxoThank you so much for pointing this out! I’ve been scammed on Poshmark before as well and it makes me so sad! It’s so hard looking for authentic clothes nowadays on this app- you have to have a trained eye to point out the fakes and even sometimes myself I mess up!
Oct 10Reply

ailurophile1@missbrookxo if you’re ever unsure in Chanel or Emilio Pucci, please feel free to reach out to me. I know those two brands very well, better than any authenticator. I love Poshmark, but I’m very disappointed by the poor customer service support and no action on counterfeits.
Oct 10Reply

missbrookxo@ailurophile1 Thank you so much I will definitely reach out if I need help! 💕
Oct 10Reply

ailurophile1@missbrookxo My pleasure.
Oct 10Reply

ailurophile1@yahhmesweett hi, I wasn’t sure how to private message you. I was curious if you purchased the counterfeit black cardigan that just sold. Just wanted to protect you. I went down the Likelist to try and see if I could make a difference and let someone know that they made a counterfeit purchase.
Oct 10Reply

lynn_saintIve also flagged and reported counterfeit items to no avail, it is sad. I wonder how their authentication process work?
Oct 10Reply

ailurophile1@lynn_saint They are not qualified. If you buy an authentic item, you’ll receive an authentic item, and if you buy a counterfeit, you’ll receive a counterfeit.
Oct 10Reply

ailurophile1@ailurophile1 I have witnessed so many counterfeit sell and get resold. Poshmark does nothing, even after these items immediately sell. I notify them because I’m watching and liking all the counterfeits. and they still don’t respond, even when I bring it to their attention where they could act immediately. I’ve written letters to the corporate office, no response. I’ve asked for a supervisor to step in, no response
Oct 10Reply

ailurophile1@ldc1223 One of the counterfeits was just removed, I think, by the seller. Probably sold on another platform that seller has many counterfeits
Oct 10Reply

ailurophile1@ailurophile1 Another counterfeit just sold that I reported
Oct 10Reply

ailurophile1@ctlevi So many have sold many sellers have a lot of counterfeit Chanel. This seller is selling counterfeit Chanel user_8878

ailurophile1@shoira So many have sold many sellers have a lot of counterfeit Chanel. This seller is selling counterfeit Chanel user_8878
Oct 11Reply

dmcdermottphanI report fakes all the time too! They need to be taken off this app
Oct 12Reply

ailurophile1@dmcdermottphan I agree, not sure why Poshmark takes no action. They seem to only take action against authentic sellers. I’ve written letters to the corporate office, no response. I’ve even tried reaching out to people on LinkedIn. It’s not good for buyers, and it’s not good for authentic sellers it hurts the brand and buyer trust on Poshmark.
Oct 12Reply

padmayoga705@ailurophile1 Have you reported to the brand’s fraud department?
Oct 12Reply

ailurophile1@padmayoga705 Yes
Oct 12Reply

ailurophile1@carinna Agree; and frustrating.
6 days agoReply

facebeautyPoshmark like the realreal is making billions a day on their 20%. They don't care. They only get involved when a sale ships to them and buyer puts in dispute.
5 days agoReply

ailurophile1@facebeauty TRR is better at authentication, but they also have a lot of counterfeits and sell them. Poshmark has not removed one counterfeit I have reported, even when I’ve proved it to them at the time of listing, when I see an offer is made, and when it sells, they only ignore, but they remove authentic sellers listening if you use a stock photo. Poshmark is non-responsive.
5 days agoReply

facebeauty@ailurophile1 yes I've seen. They are after their billions. That's their concern. Xxx
5 days agoReply

ailurophile1@facebeauty TRR scammed me by not refunding my money, but they do huge volume, are not 100% qualified and move too quickly, so items are not as described, and obvious counterfeits get listed. On Poshmark, they open cases and close them without responding. They have template responses. They say they escalate the matter, and it never goes anywhere. And when you tell them, no one’s responding. They ignore you. I think it’s more incompetence and poor oversight and operational flaws.
5 days agoReply

facebeauty@ailurophile1 yes. Major issues across board. Must be super careful

succulentsalesYo I am so sick of people selling counterfeits
5 days agoReply

cowgirlaprilWith the fees Poshmark charges you would think the control of counterfeit items would be regulated better! It’s a shame the amount of fakes I’m seeing.
5 days agoReply

ailurophile1@cowgirlapril Agree.
5 days agoReply

ailurophile1@succulentsales Me too!
5 days agoReply

hauteagainposhI don't think they care. They are too dumb to understand buying used for the real thing will last longer. The fake might look nice, but doesn't last. The quality isn't the same. Poshmark gets a percentage from the fake, so don't care either way. That's my theory.
4 days agoReply

ailurophile1@hauteagainposh I think there are many buyers who are genuinely not familiar with the brand, Rationalize its resale, so maybe the discount or price point is an opportunity, and you have these scammer sellers telling buyers the item is authentic.
4 days agoReply

ailurophile1@ailurophile1 Poshmark has no excuse. They’ve ignored me for over six years. And tell me they’re working hard. without providing a response or taking any action. There’s definitely a breakdown and a failure to the people who are trying to buy and sell and protect brands.
4 days agoReply

hauteagainposh@ailurophile1 that too. It is terrible.
4 days agoReply

ailurophile1@hauteagainposh Agree
4 days agoReply

ailurophile1@stylishglamour1 hi, I just want to protect you. You were looking at a counterfeit black jacket from a seller that only sells counterfeit Chanel for some reason. Poshmark is not doing anything about it. The seller is user_8878 the seller will block anyone that leaves a respectful comment explaining why it’s counterfeit, and they will tell you it’s authentic, but they know exactly what they’re selling. Please report them, even though Poshmark won’t do anything about it
4 days agoReply

finding_joryI have made so many reports myself but Poshmark NEVER does anything because they make SO much money through those sales. They will never change. I’ve almost given up.

1 day agoReply

ailurophile1@retroaddict20 There are so many, you can’t list them all, but I’ve reported them all. Nothing ever happens
1 day agoReply

ailurophile1@retroaddict20 I’m happy to explain why their counterfeit, if you’re unsure. I can prove why each one is counterfeit. Unfortunately, I don’t think Poshmark knows what they’re looking at, but
1 day agoReply

ailurophile1@ailurophile1 those that buy the brand absolutely can tell. anyone looking at items to purchase if they’re unsure can feel free to reach out to me, and I will explain. I previously made a listing of the counterfeit labels compared to the authentic ones I own with the tags, and Poshmark removed those examples, so you know they have the ability to do something when they want to, but I don’t know why they’re not removing the counterfeits.
1 day agoReply

ailurophile1@ailurophile1 The only explanation I can think of is that they don’t know what they’re looking at, and therefore are not qualified based upon the amount of counterfeits that are getting authenticated and sold.
