Beautiful traditional Aran-style wool cardigan with exceptionally detailed cable and textured stitchwork throughout. A substantial, beautifully constructed knit with that timeless fisherman-sweater character that works especially well with denim, boots and other heritage pieces. There are no remaining maker, fibre-content or size labels, so I cannot confirm its origin or whether it was commercially produced or individually hand knit. The construction and finishing are exceptionally well done, and the design and workmanship are very much in keeping with traditional Aran knitwear. Best suited to approximately a women’s Small and particularly petite-friendly. Styled model is 5’1” and XS/S; please refer to the photographed measurements for the best indication of fit. Condition: Beautiful pre-owned condition overall. The original plastic buttons show cosmetic surface wear and appear to have had some colour/finish touched up at some point. They remain securely attached and fully functional, so I have left them as found. They could easily be replaced if preferred. Please see close-up photos.
