Such a fun piece of royal-wedding memorabilia! I purchased this Kenneth Jay Lane Princess ring in spring 2011 specifically to wear to a watch party I hosted for Prince William and Catherine Middleton’s royal wedding on April 29, 2011. I wore it for the party and have never worn it since.
Inspired by Princess Diana’s iconic sapphire-and-diamond engagement ring, this statement ring features a large oval simulated sapphire surrounded by a sparkling halo of clear stones in a silver-tone setting.
Generous size 8 fit.
Includes the original red KJL by Kenneth Jay Lane box and original Kenneth Jay Lane booklet, which describes it as the “Princess Simulated Sapphire Ring.” The booklet includes Kenneth Jay Lane’s charming message about his relationship with the British Royal Family and wishing the royal couple a long and happy marriage—a wonderful little time capsule from the 2011 royal wedding.
The ring itself was worn only once. Please note that the original box shows visible age/storage wear, and the ring has some surface scratching/patina consistent with age and storage, all photographed for transparency.
A fabulous collectible for a Kenneth Jay Lane fan, royal memorabilia collector, or anyone who loves the iconic Diana/Kate sapphire look.
