Rare Fornasetti original vintage Swatch quartz wristwatch NIB

Still in its original packaging never opened. The plastic box has a little scratch but the watch inside is pristine. Only 2 Fornasetti designs were done for Swatch. This one is “Baiser” French for “kiss”. The watch face has the image of a man kissing a hand, and the strap features the iconic face of Lina Cavalieri. Piero Fornasetti was an Italian artist famous for his surreal designs. His most famous work is the "Tema e Variazioni" (Theme and Variations) collection. It features over 400 variations of the enigmatic face of 19th-century opera singer Lina Cavalieri, whom he considered the archetype of classical beauty. Copies of Fornasetti abound but original pieces are the only ones of true value. This collaboration with Swatch was an unusual commercial venture that produced only 2 designs. I’ve seen used watches, but this is the only new in box I’ve seen. Will only increase in value.
