Vintage ODI Solid Copper Tea Kettle Portugal Blue White Porcelain Handle Cottage

Beautiful vintage ODI solid copper tea kettle, made in Portugal, featuring a wonderfully rounded copper body, fitted lid, and graceful swing handle with a blue-and-white painted porcelain grip. A matching blue-and-white porcelain knob accents the lid. The warm aged copper and Delft-inspired blue-and-white porcelain make this an especially pretty display piece for an English cottage, French country, farmhouse, or collected vintage kitchen. Marked on the bottom ODI / Made in Portugal / Solid Copper. Measures approximately 9" high to the top of the raised handle, 8¾" overall width, with the body measuring approximately 7" at its widest diameter. This is a genuine vintage piece and shows age-related character. The copper has areas of dark brown spotting, oxidation, surface wear and natural patina, including some verdigris around the lower portion. The spout appears slightly crooked/off-center but is solid and firmly attached. The blue-and-white porcelain handle and lid knob display beautifully. Please review photographs closely for condition. The interior is exceptionally clean and appears to have seen little, if any, use. It presents much more cleanly than the naturally aged exterior. Please see photos for condition.
