This Vintage “Gee Bee” Racer Airplane, Granville Bros. Aircraft porcelain sign reproduced by Ande Rooney is from the 1990s, and is in excellent condition. Measuriments: 14” x 10” This authentic recreation (although the label is no longer attached to the back of the sign) by Ande Rooney who is highly regarded for producing heavy-duty Americana replicas, and is specifically known for his porcelain enamel over steel craftsmanship, using finely ground glass crystals fired onto a steel plate, giving them a durable, high-gloss finish. Please see all photos for condition. This authentic porcelain sign is in excellent condition. I am the original owner, this has been either displayed in my home or carefully stored since I purchased it in the 1990s.
