The tag says dry clean only, but I prefer to hand wash because dry cleaning solvents are harsh on the fibers and not great healthwise, and those tags tend to be conservative with wool. I wash it in cold water with a gentle detergent, press the water out in a towel (no wringing), and dry it flat. For storage, I keep it folded (never hung, so it doesn't stretch).
