Vintage METAL MESH HALTER TOP Original 70s-80s WHITING & DAVIS Goldtone

Vintage Whiting & Davis gold-tone metal mesh halter top, circa 1970s/early 1980s. Features the fluid, finely linked mesh construction for which the company is known. The dramatic draped front forms a deep pointed bib, with slender gold-tone ties at the neck and back for an adjustable halter fit. This example does not retain a Whiting & Davis tag. Attribution is based on the distinctive mesh construction, proportions, finishing and halter design, which are consistent with documented Whiting & Davis examples of this style. A striking piece in great condition. Measures: 20" wide; 11" long on sides, plus 6.5" front draping triangle. Top strings are 14". Bottom strings are 19". Top weighs approximately 14.64 oz. x
