Genuine antique Art Deco flapper necklace dating to the 1920s–1930s, crafted from hand-cut, faceted Italian glass beads in a rich jet-black color.
This exceptional necklace measures approximately 28¼ inches when clasped and laid flat, giving it a full wearable length of approximately 56½ inches. Each glass bead is individually hand-knotted on black cord—a traditional construction method that gives the necklace beautiful movement, substantial weight and an elegant drape.
Finished with its original aged brass-tone screw-barrel clasp. The extraordinary opera/flapper length allows it to be worn as one dramatic long strand, doubled, layered or knotted in classic Jazz Age fashion.
Details:
• Authentic antique flapper-length necklace
• Circa 1920s–1930s
• Hand-cut Italian glass beads
• Individually hand-knotted
• Faceted jet-black finish
• Approximately 56½ inches total length
• Original screw-barrel clasp
• Unsigned
Beautiful antique condition with expected age-related patina and wear to the clasp. Knotted construction appears secure. Please examine all photographs closely as they form part of the condition description.
A timeless piece of genuine Jazz Age jewelry—not a modern flapper-style reproduction.
