1940s Vintage Hand Carved Wood Scottie Dog Brooch Folk Art Pin 2.5”

Charming vintage hand-carved wooden Scottie dog brooch, believed to date to approximately the 1940s based on its style, construction and comparable period pieces. Made from richly stained brown wood with carved fur details, a jaunty upright tail and a wonderful bright blue painted collar. The rustic hand-finished character gives this little Scottie a great folk-art look. Measures approximately 2½” wide x 1¼” tall. Traditional metal pin back. No maker’s mark found. Vintage preowned condition with surface wear and variations consistent with age—please see photos for the best description of condition.
