Kui Lee The Extraordinary Kui Lee Debut LP Columbia CS 9403 1966 Hawaiian NM Deeply moving debut album from Hawaiian singer-songwriter Kui Lee, released on Columbia Records (CS 9403) in December 1966 — the same month Lee passed away from lymph node cancer at age 34. Recorded across separate sessions at CBS 30th Street Studio in New York while Lee was undergoing treatment at Memorial Sloan Kettering, this album stands as both his artistic legacy and a cornerstone of the Hawaiian Renaissance. All songs are original Kui Lee compositions, including I'll Remember You (later a signature for Don Ho), Rain Rain Go Away, Kamakani Ka'ili Aloha, Ain't No Big Thing, and No Other Song. Produced by Mike Berniker. Still in original shrink wrap; both record and sleeve grade Near Mint — an exceptionally pristine copy of a historically significant and emotionally powerful album. #KuiLee #TheExtraordinaryKuiLee #HawaiianMusic #ColumbiaRecords #HawaiianRenaissance #IRememberYou #NearMint #RareVinyl #HawaiiVinyl #1966 #VinylCollector #WorldMusic Kui Lee, The Extraordinary Kui Lee, Columbia CS 9403, 1966, Hawaiian music, Ill Remember You, Hawaiian Renaissance, Mike Berniker, near mint, original shrink, rare LP, Pacific, folk world
