Vintage Shakespearen Cape

Beautiful Shakespearen cape … literally from the wardrobing department of the famous Alabama Shakespeare Festival… Could be worn as a gorgeous fall vogue fashion piece with jeans and a T-shirt or a slip dress …or could be worn as a costume piece … could make an awesome witch cape Cape no longer had its play label in it but most all the pieces I acquired from there were from plays in the 90s so it’s atleast that old but obviously made to look older … Shakespearean/Edwardian era probably It’s a nice heart weight and a beautiful teal tapestry like fabric with green and purple tassels. Great condition to me … but does have the two flawed aread on each side of the opening. Shown in the last two photos
