Large Spode Blue Room Collection charger in the Georgian Series "Botanical" pattern. Features an elaborate blue and white floral transferware design with oversized blossoms and a scalloped floral border. The reverse is marked: The Spode Blue Room Collection Georgian Series "Botanical" First Introduced c. 1820 Reproduced from a hand engraved copper plate Spode – Made in England Measures approximately 12.5" diameter. A beautiful oversized piece for serving, layered table settings, a plate wall, or display with other blue and white transferware. Condition: Great vintage condition with no chips or cracks, and no crazing present. There are 4 spots of minor wear on the back of the plate (see photos) that likely correspond to the use of a plate all hanger.
