Antique Early American Pattern Glass toothpick holder by U.S. Glass Company in the Jewel pattern, also known to collectors as Lacy Medallion or Colorado, dating to approximately the turn of the 20th century.
This beautiful little pressed-glass piece features repeating molded circular medallions around the clear glass body, decorative borders, a pedestal-style base, and a rich ruby-stained upper section finished with a gently scalloped rim.
Measures approximately 2¼” across × 2¾” tall based on the measurements shown in the photographs.
Condition: Antique condition with age-related surface wear and wear consistent with a piece of this age. There are two small chips along the scalloped upper rim, shown clearly in the photographs. The ruby staining remains bright and displays beautifully. Please review all photos closely for exact condition.
A wonderful small example of genuine antique American pattern glass and a great addition to an EAPG, U.S. Glass, ruby-stained glass, or antique toothpick-holder collection.
