Vintage Virginia Metalcrafters Williamsburg Mahogany Jewelry Chest Box w/ Key

This substantial, beautifully crafted chest features a rich reddish-brown mahogany finish, deeply molded architectural detailing, an ornate cast-brass swing handle and matching front hardware, and a functional lock with its original key. The interior is lined in red velvet/felt and includes a removable divided jewelry tray with ring slots, providing two levels of storage for jewelry, keepsakes, watches, or other small treasures. The box is attributed to Virginia Metalcrafters' Colonial Williamsburg/Williamsburg Restoration collection and appears to correspond closely to their documented Williamsburg jewelry-box design, likely model CW103. Condition: Overall very good vintage condition with normal signs of age/use. The finish has some minor surface wear and imperfections consistent with its age. The removable tray has some missing strips of veneer on its underside; this is not visible when the tray is installed. Brass hardware shows natural age/patina.
