Diamond and platinum ring; four diamonds in total. Total weight: 3.8 grams. Size lands between a 5 and a 5.25. More specific details below. Simply a stunning ring with a history and charm all its own. This ring would make an incredible engagement ring, special gift, a right-hand statement ring, or a one-of-a-kind vintage addition to any jewelry collection. The center features two vertical straight-cut baguette (SCB) diamonds, set side-by-side to mimic a large single diamond. This illusion setting was often seen in the post-WWII period. Very good vintage condition. Light scratches and wear on metal and stones consistent with its age, circa late 1940s to early 1950s. There is an engraving on the inside of the platinum band. Additional photos are welcome upon request. Similar to an emerald-cut, the SBC has sharper 90-degree corners that are carefully cut nearly identical in length and width. The centerpiece is accented by single tapered diamond baguettes on each shoulder of the platinum ring. Size and weight details: Two Center Diamonds: Approximately 7.8mm L x 2.7mm W. Two Tapered Side Diamonds: Approximately 2.5mm L x 1.5mm W on long sides, and 1mm on shorter sides. DWT: Approximately 1 carat for all diamonds combined. Clarity: VS+ Color: G+

joanne_wiegandWould love this ring but I wear a size 10…do you think it can be sized up that much?

batti002@joanne_wiegand I’m so glad you like it; it is a stunning piece! As for resizing, it can be done! I would suggest asking a professional jeweler first to get their opinion, since platinum can be a tricky metal to work with, from what I understand. I am happy to work with you and send your local jeweler additional info and photos, or whatever info they need. :)
