1960 Vintage West German Wool Field Uniform Jacket Pants Bundeswehr Filzlaus

Original vintage West German Bundeswehr wool field uniform set dating from the early Cold War period, approximately late 1950s to 1960s. Includes the gray/olive wool field jacket and matching wool trousers. Jacket features two large button-flap chest pockets, button front, adjustable waist tabs and original-style West German black-red-gold national flag shoulder patch. This heavy wool field uniform is commonly known by the Bundeswehr nickname "Filzlaus." It was used during the early years of the West German Bundeswehr before the later cotton Moleskin field uniforms became standard. Both garments retain military-style interior markings. Shows age-related wear, fading, wrinkles and signs of storage/use consistent with an original vintage military uniform.
