Vintage Stratton England Black Enamel Gold Cigarette Case 1940s 50s Art Deco

Vintage Stratton England Black Enamel & Gold Tone Cigarette Reefer Case Clearly stamped "Stratton / REGDES 886138 / PAT No 651743 / MADE IN ENGLAND" that dates this case. Stratton was a prestigious Birmingham-based company founded in 1930s, renowned for their compacts and accessories. I was able to clean some of the green material off the back with a microfibre cloth and hand soap; it was just meant to be a test to see if the metal had deteriorated or if it was dirt, and it appears to be dirt. I've owned it for about 45 years. On eBay, if I had the original felt cloth protector and without the marks on the back, recent sales suggest it would be over $160.
