Whimsical vintage signed studio pottery plate featuring a hand-painted mother cat tenderly holding her kitten. A wonderful one-of-a-kind piece of ceramic folk art with expressive minimalist linework and soft washes of pale blue, grassy green, grey and ivory. The oversized mother cat and tiny kitten create a particularly sweet, sculptural composition. • Handmade / hand-painted studio pottery • Signed by the artist on reverse • Approx. 12" diameter × 1.5" high • Shallow hand-formed ceramic construction • Mother cat & kitten design • Pale blue sky and green grass • Decorative art pottery / display plate Very good vintage condition. Two tiny flea bites to the rim as photographed. No cracks or repairs noted. Please review photos for condition and artist signature. Wonderful for a cat lover, pottery collector, nursery, gallery wall or eclectic art collection. BS2-3 KEYWORDS: vintage studio pottery, signed pottery, ceramic art, cat pottery, kitten art, mother cat, cat lover gift, hand painted ceramic, artisan pottery, folk art, naive art, whimsical pottery, decorative plate, ceramic wall art, animal art
