Spectacular oversized butterfly / moth statement necklace with a dramatic antiqued bronze-tone finish and tons of sparkling clear and aurora borealis rhinestones. The huge openwork winged centerpiece has floral crystal details, dimensional body and antennae, and throws incredible rainbow sparkle in the light. The butterfly centerpiece is approximately 6"+ across and sits on a flexible snake-style collar chain with lobster clasp and extender. This is unapologetically maximalist costume jewelry — perfect for anyone who loves statement pieces, insects, butterflies, moths, festival style, theatrical jewelry or bold vintage-inspired accessories. Designer hangtag is heavily worn. “NEW YORK” is visible, but I cannot confidently identify the maker, so this is being listed as unbranded rather than attributing it incorrectly. Pre-owned condition with visible antiquing/patina and some finish wear consistent with costume jewelry. Rhinestones appear wonderfully bright and the piece presents beautifully from the front. Please review all photos, including back and measurement photos, as they are part of the description.
