Antique 1903 Bryce Higbee Bonair Palm Leaf Fan EAPG Glass Pedestal Compote

This graceful antique pedestal compote was produced by Bryce, Higbee & Company of Pittsburgh around 1903. Its documented Bonair pattern—also known as Palm Leaf Fan—features radiating palm-frond fans, delicate arches and a wonderfully ornate rim. The fluted stem and fan-shaped detailing around the foot complete its elegant turn-of-the-century form. Originally intended as a jelly, sweetmeat or serving compote, it remains wonderfully versatile more than a century later. Fill it with fruit, wrapped chocolates or seasonal decorations; use it on a vanity for jewelry and perfume bottles; or layer it with fine linens and collected treasures for a romantic French-country vignette.
