Several years ago I had an Etsy shop in Lithuania make some dresses for me. All are lovely but this is the one I reach for less. I'm doing a pre-retirement closet review, so am offering it here hoping it will better suit one of you. The color is called Havana. It's a really interesting brownish rose color. The photos look more pink but it's sort of a soft pinky brown color. Elliptical hem measures approx. 47" in front (shoulder to hem) and 53.5" in back (back neck to hem). Suitable for talls (I am 5'7" and it's long on me). Probably will not work on petites unless you have a great tailor. Chest measures approx. 23" flat. This dress has cap sleeves and no pockets. Linen only gets better with wear, and imho it's the only thing to wear in hot, humid weather. Shown after washing in warm water and unscented Tide, air drying, light pressing. Appropriate for work, many social occasions, and also as beach/vacation wear. Could even work as a house dress or nightie.
