Fits well bow the knees on a universal average female height and just above the ankle. It is considered a longer midi but not a complete full length or floor length. pamfsilverI’ve just compared with my own BR size M maxi, and it’s 51” and looks like the ankle grazing dress length shown in the stock photos, so the difference in length really surprises me. On me, your dress will hit just above the widest part of my Alf, so I will regretfully take a pass. But, you’ve done a great job showing the measurements and it will help someone else!

maribarii@pamfsilver- No worries. At 5"8, fit varies by torso & leg proportions. This piece is a true long midi, falling between calf & above ankle (see video & measurement photos). I know it's confusing since everyone differs, but I've provided all the evidence possible. Ultimately, it depends on the length you want to buy. If you want a floor-grazing fit, a full maxi might work better. Good luck!

maribarii@pamfsilver Hi! This dress falls between a midi and maxi length depending on your height. On average height, it sits well below the knees and above the ankle, but it does not reach or touch the floor. If you are looking for a true floor-length maxi, this might not be the right fit, but it’s perfect if you prefer a longer midi to ankle-length look!

pamfsilverI’m 5’8” - can you compare that to your situation? I’m actually wondering if you made a mistake measuring, , or if we are not thinking about it the same way. Back of neck to hem is what I’m thinking about. For me, a midi length would be about 130 cm/ 51”. Are we talking the same thing?

maribarii@pamfsilver To clarify, a 115cm (est.) dress is universally designed as a long midi. A 130cm length is standard for a full maxi for average female height (5'4"–5'5"). At 5'8", you are significantly taller than average, so a 130cm maxi sits higher on your calves and feels like a midi to you. However, based on standard sizing proportions, 115cm+- estimate is a true long midi, while 130cm is a full length maxi for average height. Banana Republic considers this style a long midi as well.
