Roberto Cavalli Archival Runway Emerald Green Suede Studded Mermaid Jacket

This is an extraordinary early Cavalli piece in rich emerald green genuine suede, heavily detailed throughout with antique-finish studs, ornate scrollwork, and one of the most spectacular belts I’ve ever seen on a jacket. The oversized sculptural buckle features intertwined mermaid / sea-creature motifs and is truly a piece of jewelry on its own. The jacket has a sharply tailored, fitted silhouette with a deep neckline, structured shoulders, elaborate studded trim, decorative sleeve motifs, patch pockets, and a matching wide suede belt. Fully lined in signature Cavalli sfabric and made in Italy. This has been in my personal collection for many years and has been carefully stored. I am only letting it go because I am moving and finally admitting that it is simply too small for me. Condition is exceptional. I do not see any actual flaws, damage, missing hardware, stains, tears, or structural issues. As with any genuine suede piece, there may be slight natural variation in the nap or tone depending on how the suede is brushed and how the light hits it; this is characteristic of the material and not damage.
