Very rare in color and condition!!! I professionally cleaned and conditioned her with my favorite leather products. I used a suede brush and cleaner to get the interior fresh. I polished the brass, took off all the parts. I didn't notice any pen marks. No cracks. This vintage 1980's Coach Convertible Clutch Purse (often found with the historical registration code 825-4705 stamped on its interior creed) is a highly coveted, classic American-made crossbody bag. Crafted from Coach’s iconic, thick glove-tanned cowhide leather in a vibrant red hue, this piece represents the brand's peak era of United States-based craftsmanship. The "825-4705" code uniquely identifies authentic production runs from this era. Genuine 1980s pieces are identifiable by their exceptionally dense, buttery leather, thick single-needle stitching, and heavy, solid brass hardware that develops a distinct patina over time. Rectangular silhouette with a full-front flap closure and a solid brass turnlock. Unlined, soft natural suede interior with an open main compartment and a smaller slip pocket under the flap.
