NAEEM KHAN Vintage Brown Silk Mini Dress w/White Embroidery SZ 4

Although this day dress from Naeem Khan is a more conventional style than the evening wear for which he is so well known, it's just as elaborate. In this case, the entire surface of the brown chiffon shell is covered in white crewel emboidery. The dress has a shirt collar, a ten-button placket in addition to a side zipper, short sleeves, and a slightly A-line shape. The embroidered shell fabric is a brown (coffee with light cream) silk chiffon crepe. The dress is lined in the same fabric, though it's not embroidered. Labeled US size 4. Review the photos carefully because they too are part of the description. MEASUREMENTS* - Shoulder width is 15" - Underarm chest measurement is 36" - Waist is 32" - Hips measure about 40" - Length is 36.5" down center back. *Do not rely only on the size label or estimated size to determine fit. Always compare actual measurements with a similar garment that fits you. PRE-OWNED CONDITION Very good condition with slight dye transfer at the seam with the zipper (faintly pink on either side of the zipper isn't conspicuous.) Some loose ends from this much embroidery are to be expected and are not considered flaws. (Pre-owned and vintage garments almost always show minor signs of their past even if no significant flaws are present.)
