The "Largeot" by Le Laboureur is an iconic, traditional French workwear trouser. Originally designed in the late 19th century, it became the ultimate symbol of the French working class and trade guilds (Compagnons du Devoir). Today, Le Laboureur remains one of the very few brands still manufacturing these historic pants in Burgundy, France. The "Demi-Ballon" Cut: A distinct silhouette that is baggy and wide at the hips and thighs for maximum mobility, but suddenly tapers sharply at the ankles so the fabric doesn't trip the worker. Built to last, they are typically crafted from ultra-dense cotton and linen (which feels like thick, Features a dedicated ruler pocket (poche mètre) on the thigh, slash pockets, and an old-school fob pocket (poche à gousset) originally meant for pocket watches. These are ecru/beige with a slight green tinge. These are preloved and as is (see photos); they have some very slight not noticeable discoloration. Beautifully constructed and built to last.
