Vera Wang Couture 2017 Sigourney Wedding Ball Gown Ivory / Peach Champagne

This Sigourney by Vera Wang (couture line, NOT White) is the dreamiest ballgown and made me feel completely timeless on my wedding day. The strapless sweetheart neckline with ivory chantilly lace is romantic and flattering, while the full floor-length skirt (layered with signature Vera tulle in ivory, white, and champagne peach) gives that classic bridal drama without feeling overdone. There is an ivory silk liner skirt at the innermost layer for comfort, a narrow hoop skirt worn underneath (not included - just used something cheap off Amazon) helped me walk and breathe easily. I'm a street size 2 and had a corset back professionally installed for an adjustable fit using original dress fabrics, which made the fit feel secure (no slippage despite the dress's weight!) and beautifully shaped throughout the day. The structure is incredibly elegant and comfortable, perfect for walking down the aisle with grace and looking absolutely ethereal in portraits. Long dramatic train, front is hemmed for 5'9 with heels. I chose this dress because it felt both grand and graceful, with the unmistakable Vera Wang touch. It has so much life and beauty left in it. Dress has been cleaned and though there are a few places where the tulle has tiny snags near the bottom, there are no noticeable flaws or rips. I would love for another bride to experience the same magic I did wearing it. My measurements are 32/25/35, with the adjustable corset this would fit anyone from a size 0-6 A-D cup.
