Vintage RHB Roland Hogan Begay Navajo Sterling Coral Gaan Dancer Inlay Ring 7.5 Exceptional vintage Native American statement ring attributed to Roland Hogan Begay (RHB), Navajo/Diné, signed on the reverse “RHB / NAVAJO.” The centerpiece features an intricately executed Gaan / Apache Crown Dancer figural inlay against a luminous mother-of-pearl/shell ground. The figure incorporates turquoise, dark and red/cream inlay materials and is surrounded by 12 red coral cabochons individually set in serrated bezels. The coral stones alternate with handmade silver drops around the perimeter, while twisted silver wire frames the central composition. A substantial triple-wire shank supports the oversized plaque. Comparable documented Roland Hogan Begay rings use the same combination of mother-of-pearl, turquoise, coral and dark stone in figural dancer designs.
