Masons Ironstone Niagara Falls Canada Plate 1920s 1930s Brown Transferware

A beautifully detailed piece of early Canadian souvenir ware, this circa 1920s–1930s Mason's ironstone plate captures Niagara Falls in warm brown transferware. The central landscape depicts the falls and river, framed by an elaborate border of maple leaves and provincial emblems for Ontario, Quebec and New Brunswick, with the Canadian coat of arms crowning the design. The softly scalloped edge gives the substantial plate an especially handsome profile. The backstamp reads Mason's Patent Ironstone China / England / Made in England, a mark consistent with production after 1923 and supporting a likely 1920s–1930s date. Measures 10.75" across. In good vintage condition with some crazing and visible age-related discoloration to portions of the sides/rim and back.
