The Portmeirion Botanic Garden Oval Steak, Chicken, or Seafood Platter is a vintage piece made in England circa 1980-1990. The stoneware platter is oven-safe, freezer-safe, microwave-safe, dishwasher-safe, and chip-resistant. Designed by Susan Williams-Ellis, it is fine stone cook ware, oven to table. Measures 11 inches in diameter 8 inches wide and 1 inch in depth, weight is a little over one pound. Warning True Ceramic cookware should never be put on an open flame or placed empty in a very hot oven. It should not be held under a cold tap or plunged into cold water when very hot.
