1940s vintage quilt with feedsack fabrics 75" x 76" Flowering Snowball pattern

This is a fabulous 30s or 40s era handmade quilt featuring 1940s floral, plaid, geo, and novelty fabrics. The pattern is probably called Flowering Snowball. It is all cotton and has a cotton batting. The backing and binding is a light green cotton. This fabulous quilt is hand pieced and hand quilted. It measures 75" x 76" and is shown on a full size bed. The top of the quilt is in very good condition, with just one small tear near the border, as shown. The back has some stains as shown, and some fading. It either has a very lightweight batting or no batting as it is thin. Sourced in western North Carolina, in the foothills of the Blueridge Mountains.
