erinstar8@karlaramon I’m always looking for more info too. Since I could not read the number, I wanted to make sure of what it was. This purse certainly has been around the block. I’m sure there is somebody that can restore it although the piping is a bit concerning. I’m learning some restoration, but the piping is still above my Pay Grade.

charleston1947Good morning, can you tell me, please, has any colorant product been used on this bag (like colored shoe polish, aftermarket dye, colored saddle soap - anything that rubs off on a white cloth)?

karlaramon@charleston1947 Hi! I found this purse along with the courrier I have listed at an estate sale. It was so very very dry. I have used Leather CPR and Bick 4 with just buffing with a horse hair brush. I believe it must have color loss maybe due to sun exposure?? Your guess is as good as mine. It appears almost two toned with the color loss. Nothing rubbed off when I conditioned the purse.

karlaramon@erinstar8 729-6305, now coach did not use style numbers pre 1994- which this bag is dated back further as it is a New York City made bag. The numbers are all serial numbers.
