Vintage fairy slip dress with floral appliqué

I thrifted this around 25 years ago. I wore it in high school (as seen in one of the photos). I held onto it all this time despite it not even being close to fitting me anymore. There have been tears in the overlayer for as long as I’ve had it but they haven’t gotten worse (see photos for location of tears). I assume is polyester but it could be nylon. I believe it’s supposed to be lingerie, likely from the 1960s or 70s. Anyway, it’s really pretty and I didn’t care about the tears in it when I wore it. It has a fairy vibe and I wish I could still wear it. Refer to measurements below.
