Vintage Areaware SALVOR Fauna Cat Contour Cushion Pillow Brooklyn MCM Rare
Rare Designer Find!
For sale is an original Areaware x Salvor Projects contour animal cushion from the famous Fauna Collection designed by Ross Menuez.
This beautiful pillow features a high-contrast monochrome silk-screen print of a sitting cat.
It was inspired by 19th-century encyclopedia illustrations.
Instead of a basic square pillow, the heavy-duty canvas fabric is intricately cut and stitched to perfectly mirror the physical shape and silhouette of the cat.
Designer: Ross Menuez / Salvor Projects 4 Areaware
Features the rare original tags stating "Made in Brooklyn" and the "Salvor Fauna" woven emblem patch.
Cotton Canvas / Organic Cotton weave.
Very good clean vintage pre-owned condition. I’ll lint clean it too before sending.
Printing remains crisp and high-contrast with lovely texture.
No holes or stains.
Item comes from a smoke-free home.
Minimal lint/shelf wear.
These pillows have been out of production for years and are highly sought after by modern design collectors.
A striking accent piece for a sofa, reading chair, or eclectic home decor.
