What to do with a $300 scarf that has a tiny defect? It's a subject I deal with occasionally and I usually just keep those scarves for myself. But occasionally, I will offer those items for sale in my closet with full disclosure. There's no reason a lovely scarf like this can't still be used--the hole has been repaired and is not easily seen. I used a fray block product on the hole---it's a special fabric adhesive, but you can't see it and can barely feel it. It prevents the fibers from unraveling further. The spot in question is in the grey and black section of the scarf. See the photos with the toothpick to see how small it is. Other than that, the scarf is in perfect condition with no signs of wear, no runs, no odors, and no pet hair.
