VINTAGE "JUNIOR EDITORS QUIZ" NEWSPAPER CLIPPINGS - LOT OF 13 - 1970s AP SCIENCE CARTOONS Original newsprint clippings of the Associated Press "Junior Editors Quiz," the syndicated illustrated Q&A panel that ran in papers nationwide. Each pairs a charming pen-and-ink cartoon with a reader-submitted question and a detailed answer. Topics: Leaves, Icebergs, Oxygen, Dinosaurs, Stars, Elephants, Moon, Frogs, Lightning Bugs, Bird Migrations, Seashells, Sand, and Our National Emblem. Artwork signed by Coulton and Odin Waugh (Coulton Waugh of "Dickie Dare" fame) and by Cunningham. Circa early-to-mid 1970s; AP release dates appear in the corners. CONDITION: Sold as found. Newsprint is toned tan with age. Hand-cut edges with minor nicks, small tears, light creasing, and tape or tape residue on a few pieces. All text and artwork fully legible. Single newspaper-column width; heights vary. Great for framing, junk journaling, scrapbooking, collage, classroom decor, or nostalgia collectors.
