Handmade White Acanthus Wall Shelf Corbel | Architectural Decor

Heavy decorative wall shelf featuring an ornate acanthus leaf and scroll design with a scalloped semicircular top. The piece appears to be handmade/cast and has a matte warm white/ivory painted finish. Material is unknown but is a very dense, substantial cast material with the weight and appearance of plaster, cast stone, ceramic, or a similar composition. A small metal hanging loop is embedded in the back for wall mounting. Measures approximately 9" wide and 8" tall, with the shelf projecting approximately 6" from the wall. Weighs 3 lbs. Pre-owned condition with visible surface wear, scuffs, small marks, finish variations, minor edge wear, and areas of discoloration consistent with age and previous display. There are also small casting irregularities and imperfections throughout; however, there are no chips or cracks noted.
