1960's Gloria Gay Baby Blue Princess Coat

Custom hand-sewn Gloria Gay princess coat, 1940's - 1960's vintage. Heavy knit Celanease acetate outer with opalescent dusty rose lining. Features a rounded collar with a-line babydoll fit, two large purple statement buttons, puff sleeves with oversized cuffs, slanted front slip pockets. Soft blue hue with rough, knotted-wool texture. 24" pit-to-pit, 18" shoulder, 46" length, 22" sleeve Good vintage condition. None of the flaws are visible when worn. Cuffs still secured with factory stitch. Non-smoking, no pets. No apparent stains. Some preservation/restoration repairs needed. Celanease faux-silk lining is torn/split in two places and hand-stitched seams are beginning to loosen in some places - shown in photos. Small spot on front left lapel may be moth damage. The coat has since been temperature treated and air brushed to ensure no active clothes moth activity.
