Baribocraft was a prominent Canadian company based in Quebec. From the 1950s through the 1970s, they became widely famous across North America for creating high-quality woodenware, salad bowls, and kitchen accessories. The main body is typically made of maple wood with a dark teak or walnut stain. The lighter circular center is a natural, un-stained maple end-grain cutting block. This tough surface is built to handle heavy cheese knives. On many models, this round piece lifts out entirely for quick cleaning. The board features two long, smooth carved grooves at the top and bottom. These are designed to neatly hold crackers, olives, or nuts. The smaller groove on the side serves as a resting spot or magnetic track for a matching cheese knife. Item is from a smoke free, pet friendly home. See photos for color and condition, some natural scuffs, scraps and chips as pictured
