1970s Crewel Embroidery Farmhouse Wall Art – Avocado Green Fiber Art (Framed)

Wonderful vintage crewel embroidery depicting an idyllic country farm scene complete with a red-roof barn, farmhouse, grazing cows, garden rows, flowering trees, stone paths and fields. Worked in beautifully textured yarn embroidery on an avocado/olive green woven fabric, this piece has all the warmth and character of classic 1970s needlework. The dimensional stitches are especially charming up close—from the looped trees and stonework to the tiny flowers, crops and architectural details. The embroidery is presented in its original-looking simple warm wood frame, which complements the earthy rust, mustard, cream and green color palette perfectly. The reverse retains handwritten vintage notations that appear to reference a kit price and made price, suggesting this was originally created from a needlework kit and carefully completed by hand.
