Roaring 20s Art Deco Flapper Handbag With Long Chain

Art Deco era flapper handbag crafted by Mandalian Mfg Co in silver tone chain mail mesh accented by turquoise, blue and gold enamel. The frame features an embossed floral design with twist bead clasp. Pictured as received from a local estate. COMPOSITION: Silver tone metal and enamel MEASUREMENT: Chain handle 44" end to end (hangs 22""), bag 7" X 3-1/2" Marked "Mandalian Mfg Co" Estate Item, the condition is very good. There are some enamel links disconnected, and some worn-off chain fringe (see photo's). The photo shows that the bag is functional. Mandalian patented the process to make these historic bags at the beginning of the last century.
