Vintage Miriam Haskell Blue Glass Baroque Pearl Necklace Bird Clasp

Beautiful vintage Miriam Haskell beaded necklace featuring large powder-blue molded glass beads alternating with lustrous faux baroque pearl beads in graduated sizes. The blue beads have raised molded designs that give the necklace wonderful texture and an Asian/Egyptian-revival feel. The faux pearls have the intentionally irregular, organic surfaces associated with Haskell's richly textured costume jewelry. Finished with an especially charming gold-tone figural bird clasp, clearly signed MIRIAM HASKELL on the reverse. The necklace measures approximately 18 inches end to end, based on the measurement photo.
