OOAK Hama-dryad Headpiece and Two Wristguard Branching Arm Extensions. This particular piece was inspired by a driftwood bonsai tree...(see pics) and a specific kind of dryad....The Hamadryad. This is a type of dryad whose life had completely fused with a the spirit of a living tree. This was a project that saddens me I never was able to see it come to life thru my photography. I commissioned a magical leather artist, Linda Wininger to create this for me. Made completely by hand, Linda, carved and shaped the leather into a Headpiece and Two Wristguard Branching Arms. it's light weight, adjustable to a range of sizes and comfortable to wear. Lots of time, trial and error onto crafting these organic flowing shapes and wood grain texture that is both art and wearable for me. Hence the one of a kind price. #tree #dryad #headpiece #mythical
