Vintage Angel Roses Trinket Box Footed Hinged Lid Cut Out Design 1950s Japan

Vintage silver-tone metal trinket/jewelry box made in Japan, 1950's. Features ornate openwork and repousse design on the hinged lid with a central cherub or angel with a rose on each side. Decorative feet and an interior lined with red velvet, dating mid-century (around 1940-1950's) and marked Japan. 4" x 2" with hinged lid cutout design. 1940s-50s Rare trinket box with beautiful cutout design on lid which shows the original red velvet liner. The hinged lid opens and closes easily. Original red velvet liner intact. See photos.
